We offer our services to anyone who might benefit from them, regardless of age, race, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, religion or social background. Counselling is available at our main office in Cambridge Monday - Friday (daytime & evening) and Saturday mornings. We have outposts in Cambourne, Milton, Ely, Huntingdon, Eaton Socon and St Ives which are open at limited times each week (day time only) so please enquire as to which day is available. Sex therapy and family counselling sessions, are held at Brooklands Avenue , on specific days each week only. Please enquire about all appointments through our main office in Cambridge on 01223 357424. Couple CounsellingWe can provide support and counselling for you and your partner or for you on your own. We can help if you are having problems and want to work them out, or if you want to separate, or if your relationship has ended. When you phone us, the first appointment we will offer you is a consultation with a counsellor, usually within 5-10 days. At the end of the consultation, which lasts up to an hour, you will be able to decide if you want to have regular counselling sessions (once a week). We ask you to contribute as much as you can afford towards the cost of £48 for each session (£50 for family counselling and sex therapy). Counselling is a private and confidential form of help. This means that we will not give your name or any information about you to anyone outside Relate unless someone's personal safety is at risk. Psychosexual TherapySex therapy is very successful for many couples, including same sex couples, who experience difficulties in their sexual relationship. In some cases, we can also offer help to individuals if their partners are unable to attend. Phone 01223 357424 and ask to make an appointment to see a sex therapist for an assessment. All calls are treated discreetly and in complete confidence. Family CounsellingThis service is for parents & children, siblings, blended families, and extended families who are experiencing problems. Relate Family Counselling can help to improve relationships between members of any family group.
Evaluating Our ServiceThe aim of Relate is to 'build better relationships'. In an attempt to monitor our efforts in this direction, we ask clients who have attended Relate Cambridge for counselling to take a few minutes to fill in an evaluation form. We are really grateful for your asistance in providing the information asked for, as we feel it will be invalauble in enabling us to monitor and improve our services.
