Waiting times
Anyone who contacts Relate will be offered an initial appointment within 5 - 10 days. Waiting times for ongoing counselling/therapy will depend on your availability and the service you require.
Where
Counselling is available in Cambridge at our main centre at 3 Brooklands Avenue, and in addition we have counsellors working at outposts in Cambourne, Eaton Socon, Ely, Huntingdon, Milton, and St Ives. Family counselling and sex therapy are provided at Brooklands Avenue only.
Hours
Sessions at Brooklands Avenue are held on Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm, and at reduced hours (half a day each week) at our outposts.
Costs
Each consultation and counselling session costs us £48 to provide (sex therapy and family counselling is £50 per session) and we ask you to contribute according to your income.
Children
We ask that babies and young children are not brought to sessions (except for family counselling), for obvious reasons this is very distracting for you as well as for the counsellor.
Access
There is wheelchair access at all sites except Brooklands Avenue, where alternative arrangements can be made.
